ACFW Colorado Springs invites you to join us at Glen Eyrie Castle in the foothills of Colorado Springs, Colorado, for an unforgettable weekend of teaching, fellowship and inspired writing featuring USA Today's best-selling author of 65 books and founder of My Book Therapy and Novel Academy, Susan May Warren.

Saturday’s intensive full-day of sessions features five fantastic workshops with Susie May detailing her easy, organic, can’t-fail way to create compelling characters and plot a best-selling novel. Also included are a full breakfast and buffet lunch on Saturday.

Saturday's main event makes a fantastic one-day conference experience, but you can also take advantage of an interactive bonus coaching class with Susie May on Friday afternoon and enjoy a time of fellowship and networking on Friday evening. Note: Friday meals are on your own.

In Friday's class, Susie May will break down the elements common in blockbuster books and movies - elements applicable to every gene. You'll have a guided opportunity to begin incorporating these elements into your own work, so bring your laptop!

Conference Registration Rates and Deadlines

Who Should Attend
Write in the Springs is designed specifically for Christian authors and those aspiring toward that goal. Our emphasis is on the craft of fiction writing and instruction regarding the Christian publishing industry. Membership with ACFW is not required to register, but ACFW members receive a discounted rate as a member benefit.
Scholarships: Need financial assistance in order to attend? A limited number of scholarships are available exclusively for ACFW members. Applications accepted until 6:00 pm (Mountain Time) on December 15th. Download printable application instructions (PDF) HERE.
Our Refund Policy:  ACFW will provide a 75% refund on cancelled registrations through January 12, 2020; and a 50% refund from January 13 through March 1, 2020. No refunds are available after March 1, 2020, but you may designate your ticket to be transferred to someone else, if you wish. To request a refund or to transfer your ticket, contact the conference registrar by email: conference@acfwcosprings.com.
Are there ID, minimum age or dress requirements to enter the event?
Write in the Springs is a professional event focused on training those who aspire to become professional writers. Registration is limited to those at least 16 years of age or older. Casual and business attire are both suitable. Be prepared for a variety of possible weather conditions.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Glen Eyrie is a large property with several buildings and multiple parking areas for those traveling by car. Handicap access is provided. On-site lodgers may choose to walk between their accommodations and the meeting rooms, though some may prefer to drive the approximate 1/3 mile distance.
What should I bring to the event?
A packet with handout materials is provided for note-taking. Registrants are allowed to bring personal snack items into sessions, but no alcohol is allowed anywhere on the Glen Eyrie property and smoking is limited to a few designated areas.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. Your printed ticket serves as your receipt for tax or other record-keeping purposes. You will not need to bring the ticket to the event to gain admission, but you will need to sign in upon arrival.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, your information is editable on the Eventbrite site -OR- you can contact the conference registrar with any changes.  Email to: conference@acfwcosprings.com
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes. If you find you cannot attend the conference, you may designate someone else to attend in your place. Contact the registrar to arrange for ticket transfer. Email to:  conference@acfwcosprings.com
