Come join us for Turkish Cuisine Cooking Classes at Raindrop Foundation where we share authentic food  recipes, cook together and have a delicious lunch at the end. Each menu features a variety of  food with healthy ingredients and traditional recipes that is part of the famous Mediterranean cuisine. In every class, we find this culinary journey an opportunity for dialogue, cultural exchange and a great way to build wonderful friendships. Turkish Cheese Borek. This particular recipe is an easy alternative to “Su Boregi” literally meaning “Water Borek”- famous national type of savory pastry.
Spicy Bulgur ***** “Cig Kofte” – a vegetarian version for Spicy Raw Meatballs from the ancient Turkish cuisine. The traditional version used uncooked beef or lamb that was kneaded together with bulgur and spices including a special dried pepper “Isot” that is only grown in Turkey. The meatless version - a new culinary trend to this very old dish.
Butternut Squash Dessert with Phyllo Dough – Sweet dessert made with Phyllo dough layers and the Butternut squash and walnut filling.
Roasted Zucchini Salad – Oven-roasted tender zucchini slices served with garlic yogurt sauce.
