Transgender Emergency Services by Equality Michigan, Online, Tuesday, 21. July 2020
About this Event
Equality Michigan stands with LGBTQ+, SGL, and individuals living with HIV who are survivors of violence, discrimination and harrassment. They are offering emergency support and advocacy services every 3rd Tuesday of the month from 10 AM to 2 PM.
Led by Ms. Jeynce Poindexer, the services will be available online through the OutCenter's HIPAA compliant and secure Google Meets platform. Individuals may also choose to anonymously dial into the meeting or send questions through the chat feature.
EQMI works to increase self-determination, safety, and power for people experiencing various forms of violence, including domestic violence, sexual assault, hate violence, harassment, and discrimination. Their services are survivor-centric and tailored to the specific needs of each person.
