This is Your Brain on Sleep: The A to Zzz’s of Brain Health, Center for Health and Wellbeing, Friday, 09. August 2019

Are you getting enough sleep? Is the sleep you’re getting quality rest? Sleep is a highly active time for brain development and brain function; it is thought that deep and REM sleep – perhaps the parts of sleep when consolidation of information takes place – tends to decline as we age. Join us to learn why sleep quantity and quality play a critical and major role in our brain health, and in what and how well we process and remember information. This program is presented by the Center for Health & Wellbeing, a partnership between the Winter Park Health Foundation and AdventHealth.
