How Tax Reform Will Affect Small Businesses
New tax laws are a jolt to the system and often cause concern for business owners. The 2017 tax reform is generally friendly to businesses if you understand the rules. Relieve yourself of the concerns by learning what the new law is, how it affects your business, and what, if anything, you need to do to take advantage of the new law. Topics discussed include Section 199A (Qualified Business Income Deduction) for pass-through businesses, C-Corp (non-pass-through) rate changes, Section 105 on health care for businesses, changes in section 179 expensing and depreciation, and changes in the like-kind exchange rules.
