Summer STEM Cooking is an opportunity for students in 7th through 9th grade to get valuable experience and skill in a professional kitchen environment while learning applied science at the same time. This opportunity helps students understand the connection between cooking and science and makes learning science FUN! Summer STEM Cooking incorporates Science, Technology, Engineering and Math concepts in a fun and engaging environment that ends in eating some GREAT FOOD and learning life-long skills that will help students understand problem-solving, kitchen safety and food science. Each session is two weeks.
