Substance Abuse and Mental Health 20 HR Teacher Training event

Root to Rise Training
20 hour training in mindfulness techniques for those with substance abuse and mental health issues. For yoga teachers, school teachers and counselors, social workers, justice system staff, substance abuse rehab staff, caregivers and parents. Yoga Teachers will receive a 20 hr CEU Yoga Alliance.

Trauma awareness education


Mindful language, posture and placement


Exercises for stress reduction and ability to be present for both the teacher and student

The components of substance abuse


Healing modalities to empower yourself and others to make healthy choices and respond rather than react
