Workshop Objectives

Define burnout and explain critical factors impacting health care professionals.
Identify maladaptive coping strategies increasing risk for professional burnout.
List major components of the L.I.F.E recovery approach to increasing overall well-being.
Identify three strategies to implement in workplace setting to effectively reduce stress.
Define the elements of mindfulness and how to apply them to increase stress resiliency.
Describe how the information in the workshop can be utilized to increase resiliency and reduce risk for burnout.
