We live in a hectic period of history - our daily lives are replete with an overwhelming number of choices, startling noise ranging from TV to traffic, harmful chemicals in our food & environment and worrying news coming at us from every possible direction. This confusion arouses in us a heightened tone in our sympathetic nervous systems (SNS), which contributes to conditions ranging from insomnia to burnout to inflammatory diseases such as diabetes and Alzheimer’s.


We all know that movement is medicine, and Restorative Yoga is particularly effective at calming the nervous system, creating a deep sense of peace and nudging the nervous system towards parasympathetic tone. This is known as the “rest and digest” system (PNS) , versus the “fight or flight” aspect of the sympathetic nervous system.

In this Restorative Yoga Training, you will learn:

‣ All about the nervous system!

‣ Myofascial self-release

‣ Sequencing + blending with Yoga Nidra
