RESCHEDULED - Tech Talk! Green Infrastructure in Transportation-, NJ DOT Headquarters, Multipurpose Room, Wednesday, 05. June 2019

This half-day Tech Talk event will provide an overview of transportation-related Green Infrastructure projects implemented for stormwater management. These efforts respond to the increasing intensity and frequency of severe weather events and subsequent flooding.
Representatives of New Jersey, Maine and Pennsylvania Departments of Transportation will present Stormwater Best Management Practices to control and treat highway and parking lot runoff, including permeable pavements, wetlands, bio-swales, bio-retention basins and rain gardens. Local agencies Passaic County and City of Hoboken will present their priority strategies and actions for addressing stormwater management through the adoption and implementation of Green Infrastructure Strategic Plans.
