November LEPC: Winter Safety Presentation, Roger Carter Community Center, Thursday, 21. November 2019

Howard County LEPC meetings are designed to help businesses and community members increase their resiliency by providing information and training to increase preparedness. This meeting will focus on Winter Safety. Join us on Thursday, November 21st for a presentation by the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

While it feels like Fall just started, it's already time to start preparing for the Winter! During cold weather months, we all use more heating sources and the risk for fires in our homes and businesses increases. Join us at this month's LEPC to learn important fire safety tips from the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services as cooler weather approaches to keep your families, homes, and businesses safe during the winter.

Coffee, light breakfast fare, and networking will begin at 9:00 am. The training will begin at 9:30 am.

This meeting is free and open to the public. No prerequisite training is required.

To request accommodations for participating in this meeting, please call the Howard County Office of Emergency Management at 410-313-6030, or send an email to emergencymanagement@ least five (5) days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) prior to the meeting.
