About this Event
It's time to unlock your creative side. Mandalas are a simple and effective creative tool that anyone can use to help them calm the mind. There is no age limit, I have taught everyone from ages 8-80. All you need is paper and a pen and by the end of the session you will be able to draw your own freehand Mandalas.
During the session you will learn how to draw a 15 minute freehand Mandala.
You only need to buy one ticket per household.
MATERIALS- some paper with some cut into squares (12x12cm /15x15cm - for example, this makes it easier to find the centre) a pen or biro, and colour pens/pencils. We don't use pencils and erasers or a compass and a ruler, it’s the process not the end result.
I am an established sober artist who is passionate about inspiring people to put pen to paper. I have completed 3 years of daily practice and am never seen without my sketchbook. My mantra for these uncertain times is “cultivate love through creativity and connectivity”
Once I have received your order I will send you a link for zoom. I look forward to you joining me
"For someone who struggles to meditate sometimes it’s a nice way to stop and breathe and also create something at the same time. I love stepping back and seeing the end result, every single one is different and I can usually tell how I’m feeling just by looking at it. I’m also doodling on every single bit of paper when I’m on the phone at work"
"The impact of this workshop has been profound. As a grieving parent, this tool has really helped me manage my emotions, and deal with the physical exhaustion and restlessness, of loss and grief. It’s enabled Aslan’s friends with a tool that may help them manage the sadness of the journey; and it’s a tool that I can use for the rest of my life ❤️ Thank you x"
"Learning to draw mandalas has had a great impact on my life - since moving to Melbourne I have used it as a means of mindfulness when I have been feeling low / stressed / thinking about the previous experienced trauma. It has helped me to focus and keep my mind in a calmer state throughout. This has had a knock on affect on my professional life too - trying to incorporate this focus into small tasks throughout my working day"
