In the evolution of a day, the only thing we can guarantee is that the light is never constant, it's always changing. In this ever-changing environment, a photographer must learn to work with these changing environmental conditions and adapt accordingly. This workshop will arm you with some of the technical knowledge on how to deal with these conditions and keep shooting long after you ever thought it was possible.

Brendon was born and raised in Zimbabwe where he was exposed to wildlife and the outdoors from a very young age. He could hardly be kept indoors as nature already took up a big place in his heart. While Brendon was at school, he eventually headed the conservation and research department of the schools’ own game reserve. Brendon worked in the Kariba area and in Matusadona National Park during school holidays, absorbing information and knowledge of wildlife and nature.

Today Brendon is an adventurer, conservationist, tour leader, specialist wildlife photographer and guide based in Nelspruit. Brendon Guides and hosts photographic safaris, workshops and photo tours around Southern and East Africa with Tusk Photo. With a deep respect and understanding for Africa and its wildlife and through his profound knowledge, Brendon’s safaris allow the traveller not only to enhance their photography but also gain a lifelong admiration for Africa’s wildlife and culture.
