IAAP Kansas City, KS (In-Person & Virtual) Branch - Customer Service & Professionalism in the Workplace, Kansas City Kansas Community College (Continuing Education Building), Saturday, 22. February 2020

Kris Ball has been teaching and training for the past thirty years. She started in Information Technology as a programmer/analyst and MIS Manager at the City of Dodge City and Gibsons Discount Centers. She fell in love with teaching after earning her MMIS (Masters in Management of Information Systems) and has been teaching fulltime at Dodge City Community College and Kansas City Kansas Community College for sixteen years. She is the Program Coordinator for the Administrative Office Professional program at KCKCC and is thrilled to see her hard-working students graduate and enter the workforce. She serves on IAAP committees including CAP Exam panel, the College Partnership Committee, and is a Subject Matter Expert, and is helping with the CAP in (in progress) project.
In her free time, she melts glass and hammers metal into jewelry, watches her rescue dog sleep at the foot of the bed, and teaches herself programming language (currently it’s Python).
Customers and Customer Service have both changed greatly throughout her career. Come learn some tips to help you provide the best Customer Service possible to all your customers (inside & out).
