The 44rd Annual Holiday Tour of Homes

Savannah’s Holiday Tour of Homes features exquisite architecture, beautiful furnishings, and gracious hospitality. This intimate tour experience allows guests to look “behind the doors” at some of Savannah's most beautiful private residences, festively decorated Historic Inns and culturally significant Museum homes. 
*Funds from the tour support the Downtown Savannah Association local community grant program.*


Tour of Homes I: 10 am - 4 pm (Houses from 10 - 2, Museums from 10-4 and Inns from 12:30-3:30)

Tour of Homes II: 12 am - 4 pm (Houses from 12-4, Inns from 12:30 - 3:30, Museums from 10-4, , )

Each of these tours features the same eight private homes, three historic Inns, two Museum Houses in Savannah’s Historic Landmark District AND the Massie Heritage Center.  To avoid over crowding and long lines, the Private Houses portion of the Tour has been broken into two separate tours, Tour 1, from 10-2 and Tour 2 from 12-4.  The Inns and Museum houses will be open to both Tours for the same hours.
The Museum Houses:  Open from 10-4- Andrew Low House, an Italianate mansion where Juliette Low founded the Girl Scouts of America
-Green-Meldrim House, one of America's finest and most lavish examples of Gothic Revival architecture, served as  General Sherman's headquarters during his occupation of Savannah.  
-Massie Heritage Center, a resource center for living history featuring original Georgia school system building,  classroom, period costumes, and information on local history and historic preservation. 
Historic Inns: Open from 12:30-3:30- The Ballastone Inn- Eliza Thompson House- The Kehoe House
Where you start your tour
Tour Headquarters will be at the Jepson Center, located at 207 W York Street on Telfair Square. This is where you will begin the tour by picking up your tour Guidebook. The Guidebook is your required ticket for entrance into the tour locations.  Guidebook pickup will begin an hour before your Tour Session.
Please note:

Touring private homes is a special experience. Some will be decked with elaborate Christmas decorations, other homes will be more understated to reflect the holiday traditions specific to the family. All the homes and Inns on the tour will have beautiful interiors. 

This is a self-guided walking tour, and the private houses will not be handicapped accessible, many will have 10-12 stairs to climb to reach the entrance.

Wheelchairs and strollers can not be allowed inside the houses.  

Well behaved children who are interested in ***** activities are welcome, but must also pay full ticket price. Small children must be carried. 

No photography will be allowed.

Refund Policy: Due to the fundraising nature of the Holiday Tour of Homes, we do not offer refunds. Should you need to transfer your ticket to a friend, please contact us to make appropriate arrangements.
