HeartMath Resilience Advantage™ Workshop, Unity of Fairfax, Saturday, 22. June 2019

HeartMath Reslilience Advantage™ Two-Day Workshop
Saturday, June 22, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., (lunch on  your own)
Sunday, June 23,  1 to 3 p.m.
Facilitated by Ellen Synakowski

As a spiritual community, what Unity knows is that the heart is physical . . . and so much more.
For more than 20 years, HeartMath’s research has targeted emotions and the way they can enhance or prevent us from living life with ease and joy.
The Resilience Advantage® is an experiential workshop. Using examples from your own life, you’ll come to understand how renewing feelings of love, compassion, appreciation and more impact your body’s physiology and enable you to receive inspiration, enjoy humor, work collaboratively and have empathy.
Likewise, you’ll begin to pinpoint situations and emotions that deplete your energy and discover simply steps to plug those drains. Each participant will leave with a guidebook that gives workshop highlights and concrete tools that, with practice, can transform moments of distress.
If you want to build resiliency for the unexpected moments of life (a surprise bill, a disconnected conversation, miscommunication with a colleague, etc.) you’ll leave understanding that there are quick, eyes-wide-open tools that really work.
Registration and payment includes:

The Sunday workshop is also available for individuals who have had HeartMath training or Connection Practice training and who are not present on Saturday. Please sign up for the standalone Sunday Workshop.
The Sunday workshop will look at several specific uses of HeartMath:

When we over care — empathize with another to the point that we, ourselves, can become sick, exhausted and burn out, and that isn’t good for anyone.
Where is this need to care so deeply coming from? Using HeartMath there is an easy check on whether what we are offering ourselves or another is healthy care or over care. We’ll identify where we over care and what tools in HeartMath can help dissolve it.
We’ll also look at the renewing ability of sleep and how to use HeartMath to get more of it.

Ellen Webster Synakowksi is an experienced coach and trainer with HeartMath, Connection Practice and a Biodynamic Craniosacral therapist.  She is practiced at unraveling the mysteries that bind emotions to physiology.
