Food Drive & Sorting with WARM, Westerville Area Resource Ministry, Saturday, 19. January 2019

Who this event is for:
Ages 2-12.  ***** caregivers are required to accompany child participants.
What we’ll be doing:
Join Seeds of Caring as we teach our kids about food insecurity and take action in our community.  Families are asked to collect food donations ahead of time and then bring them to Westerville Area Resource Ministry on Saturday January 19th.  We will provide a flyer to help your child conduct his/her own neighborhood food drive if you choose.  While at the food pantry, we will talk about food insecurity, take a look around the pantry, and weigh/sort food donations.
How to start at home:
Check out this resource to get the conversation started at home.
Why you'll be asked to make a donation:
On the next page you'll be invited to make a tax-deductible donation to Seeds of Caring. Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's because we have the support of families like yours. Please consider making a generous gift to help us continue to empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds. Note: tax acknowledgment letters will be emailed after the event.
Note about full events:
Check back for spots to become available at this event as cancellations occur. Seeds of Caring no longer maintains wait lists for full events.
