Course Summary:        
This presentation will address information that students and faculty should know about the basics of removable. It will cover diagnosis and treatment protocols, what is allowed/not allowed, removable consults, treatment coding, and the competency exams.  Faculty will be engaged through clinical examples (good, bad, and ugly) that will facilitate their learning to assess removable procedures.
Course Objectives: 

Understand standard protocols for diagnosis, treatment planning, and removable treatment procedures commonly undertaken by the predoctoral dental students at TAMCOD.
Understand and apply the removable competency rubrics for competency assessments for predoctoral students.

Sarah Allen, DDS, MS
Dr. Allen is a Clinical Assistant Professor and the newly appointed Director of Curriculum at TAMCOD. She earned her Master of Science in Oral Biology degree and Prosthodontics Certificate under Dr. Bill Nagy in 2014 and currently teaches full-time clinical Pilot Program. She also works as a prosthodontist at Sammons Cancer Center and writes/reviews questions for the new Integrated Board Dental Exam to be released in August 2020.

A $50 fee will be assessed for any course  cancellation.  All payments by check or cash are deposited into the Texas A&M account  and CANNOT be refunded. “No Shows” for a course  forfeit all tuition. Confirm notification of cancellation by e-mail.The CE Office cannot be held responsible for a  non-refundable airline ticket.
