High school junior or senior (freshman & sophomores may be considered)


3.0 GPA in academic courses


Meet minimal score requires in at least one test


ACCUPLACER (237 Reading, 258 Math, 4 WritePlace) or


SAT (480 Evidence-Based Reading  & Writing, 440 Math, 1050 Total) or


ACT (20 Composite, 17 English or Reading, 17 Math)


What does it cost to take dual enrollment courses?
Tuition is FREE for all qualifying (Georgia resident) students. The cost for full-time coursework up to 15 semester hours from the approved course listing will be funded by the Georgia Student Finance Commission. The application to Savannah State is FREE too!
We do not live in the city of Savannah, can I still take dual enrollment courses at Savannah State?
Yes! Opportunities for online courses are available to students interested in dual enrollment at Savannah State University.
What documents can I bring into the event?
Students may bring their official test scores and high school transcript for evaluation.
I have yet to take the SAT/ACT/ACCUPLACER, what should I do?
Good news, Testing Services will be offering the ACCUPLACER exam directly after the information session at no cost!
