Computer Science Education Week (CSEdWeek ) is a program dedicated to raising awareness about the need to elevate computer science education at all levels and to underscore the critical role of computing in all careers. During CSEdWeek, we will be hosting 3 events, in which kids will become familiar to coding in Scratch, JavaScript, and Unity 3D. What are Scratch, JavaScript, and Unity 3D? Scratch is a visual programming language developed my MIT ( ), and is ideal for kids who do not have any coding experience. Recommended age 7 and above. JavaScript is a coding language for the web, and is used extensively for web forms and games. This event is suitable for kids who are reasonably comfortable with typing. No coding experience is needed. Recommded age 9 and above. Unity 3D is a popular gaming engine used for the production of 2d and 3D video games. No coding experience is needed. Recommended age 10 and above.
