Circle Of Life, Chesapeake Finishline Tower, Tuesday, 01. October 2019

The American Cancer Society is excited to have partnered with the Oklahoma City Indian Clinic and Southern Plains Tribal Health Board on offering this program.
The purpose of the Circle Of Life program is to educate American Indian and Alaska Native people about healthy lifestyles and disease prevention, early detection, and screening for cancer; cancer treatment methods; support systems; and end-of-life care. Knowledge is power, and we believe sharing this information is an important way to help prevent cancer and support those dealing with a cancer diagnosis in the American Indian and Alaska Native communities.
You are invited to attend the Circle Of Life training, this first session will cover Healthy Habits and Native Healing. There will be 3 more Circle of Life training sessions in 2020, we hope that you will attend all and become certified in the Circle Of Life curriculum, gaining the skills to help those community members going through their cancer journey and the confidence to discuss the entire cancer continuum to best assist and support your communities in accessing care.

Please reach out to Kasey Volpe at the American Cancer Society with questions at or 405-841-5815.
