ABOUT: This weekend training session is designed by Big West Rotaract Directors, veteran past Rotaract presidents and district leaders and is specifically tailored for for any incoming/current Rotaract presidents, Rotaract club leaders, and Rotaract district leaders.
Institute is divided into four sessions/tracks for Rotaractors and Advisors:1. President Elect Training Session (PETS) 2. Board Elect Training Session (BETS)3. Governor Elect Training Session (GETS)4. Club and District Advisors are encouraged to attend our special Advisor Track.
All sessions are designed to train and prepare leaders to excel to be an exceptional leader. The curriculum will cover Rotary & Rotaract basics, leadership and conflict resolution, long term planning to get leaders out of the meeting-to-meeting planning rut and much more. The weekend as a whole is designed to motivate and inspire attendees as well as educate. 
CHECK-IN: Event check-in time for all Rotaract Institute attendees begins at 5PM on Friday, July 19 and runs until 8PM. For attendees who cannot make the Friday networking session, please arrive by 8AM on Saturday, July 20 and find the registration desk to pick up your badge and welcome IN?: We recommend flying into Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC). We will also be sending out a separate email to registered attendees asking for your airline itineraries to arrange for airport shuttle pickup from the & COST:The cost of registration per person for attending the Rotaract Institute is $250/person until 11:30PM Pacific time June 1st, 2019. It will be $300/person from June 2nd until 11:30PM Pacific time July 12, 2019. If you are paying by check we must have answers to ALL the registration questions and the check in hand before the associated deadline passes (contact our General Secretary at janel@bigwestrotaract.org for a mailing address). Early bird pricing will not be extended for any reason. Registration is non-refundable but can be transferred to another person's includes lodging, the cost of meals (appetizers on Friday, breakfast/lunch/dinner on Saturday, brunch on Sunday) and the cost of materials.We strongly recommend all Rotaractors obtain funding from their sponsoring Rotary Club or Rotary District for this training event. Rotary International mandates that all Rotary districts and sponsoring Rotary clubs provide leadership training for Rotaract leaders as part of your charter agreement. Rotaractors will share double occupancy rooms while advisors will be assigned their own rooms.
